As a member of the Data Engineering team, you’ll have access to the research, knowledge, and tools to create leading-edge solutions across Avanade’s Business Intelligence practice. The role of Engineer is perfect for ambitious technologists passionate about working with the latest Microsoft cloud technology and Microsoft experts. Our clients look to us for innovation, which means you’ll have early access to the newest Microsoft technologies so you can master them and stay ahead of the curve.

What you’ll do: 

• Use your knowledge of statistics, programming, data modeling, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, ask business questions, and make valuable discoveries that lead to better business decisions.
• Support passionate project teams developing customer solutions through exploratory data analysis.
• Provide feedback on data visualization techniques and opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date on current trends in AI, cloud computing, and big data within the data community.
• Be introduced to implementing big data architectures with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Kafka.

Skills and experiences :

• Knowledge of data mining, analysis, and modeling.
• •Experience with at least one key analytics tool (R, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, quantitative analysis, and forecasting/predictive analysis.

Compensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
