Assistant Store Manager – Front End & Administration

Pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience

Snow’s Family Market is looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager – Front End & Administration.

The primary focus of this position is helping manage the front end of the store by coordinating staff, maintaining strong customer service, and keeping checkout operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role, so some cashiering and direct customer service are part of the job, but the position also includes meaningful administrative and office responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate front-end staffing, breaks, and daily assignments.
• Help ensure customers receive prompt, friendly, and efficient service.
• Supervise, support, and assist front-end employees throughout the shift.
• Step in on registers or assist customers when traffic or staffing needs require it.
• Handle customer service issues and basic cash-office responsibilities.
• Train new cashiers and help monitor employee performance.
• Assist with new-hire paperwork and employee onboarding.
• Maintain employee records, forms, and front-end paperwork.
• Answer phones, handle customer inquiries, and assist with basic office work.
• Help maintain pricing, signage, and other store communications.
• Assist management with special projects and routine administrative work.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and well-supplied front-end areas.
• Assist elsewhere in the store when business needs require it.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail, customer service, supervisory, or office experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to take initiative.
• Comfortable providing direction and support to other employees.
• Able to balance customer-facing, administrative, and supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a busy retail environment.
• Basic computer and office skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Full-time positions are generally scheduled approximately 36–40 hours per week. Part-time schedules may vary based on availability, experience, and store needs.

Eligible full-time employees receive a range of additional benefits, including:

• Premium Pay: Earn an additional $2.00 per hour for Sunday and holiday shifts.
