Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support the protection of people, property, and operations. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, vehicle gates, loading zones, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
