Description
About Fitness & Lifestyle Group
Fitness & Lifestyle Group (FLG) is Asia Pacific's largest group of corporately owned health and wellness clubs — 310+ locations, 600,000+ members, and five of the region's most recognised fitness brands: Fitness First Australia, Goodlife Health Clubs, Jetts Fitness, Zap Fitness and Barry's.
We're headquartered in Australia with regional offices across South East Asia, and we're on a mission to help our global community live stronger, happier lives.
The Opportunity
Fitness & Lifestyle Group runs one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest fitness portfolios, with brands including Goodlife, Fitness First, Jetts NZ, Zap Fitness and Barry’s all running on a shared Salesforce platform. That scale means every flow, integration and piece of automation you build touches real staff workflows and real member experiences, multiplied across hundreds of clubs.
We’re looking for a Salesforce specialist who already knows the platform inside out and wants to go further: using Claude and AI tooling as a genuine part of how you design and build, not just a shortcut for writing code faster. You’ll work from FLG’s concept packs and solution designs, but you’ll also help shape smarter, more forward-thinking solutions for the people who use Salesforce every day, our staff and our members.
The Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Salesforce changes across the brand portfolio, including data model, flows, Apex, LWC, permissions and reports
- Use Claude and other AI tools as part of daily build, testing and documentation work, and help the wider team get better at using them too
- Bring an AI-informed lens to solution design, exploring options and trade-offs for customer and staff-facing Salesforce solutions, not just technical build
- Write Apex test classes, regression checks and deployment notes, and ship changes through sandbox, pull request, CI and human-approved deployment
- Investigate production issues through to root cause, and keep Production and version control in sync
- Contribute platform input to solution design with BA and Product teams, covering data model, automation, security and rollback
- Draft ADRs for significant platform decisions, and flag anything that conflicts with existing architecture
- Review pull requests and share build and test approaches with other Salesforce admins and BAs
About You
You’ve got solid, hands-on Salesforce experience and you’re genuinely curious about where AI fits into the way you work, not just as a novelty but as a tool you’ve already started using to build better and faster. You think about the people on the other end of what you build, whether that’s a staff member relying on a smooth workflow or a member interacting with FLG. You’re comfortable working independently, prioritising competing requests, and you’ve got the judgement to know when something needs a second opinion before it goes further. You’re also happy to share what you learn, whether that’s a better way to prompt Claude for a tricky Apex problem or a cleaner approach to a flow, because this role grows the team’s capability, not just your own output.
Key Experience and Qualifications
- Experience building and maintaining Salesforce in a production environment
- Experience delivering complex automation in Flow and Apex
- Experience using AI coding tools in your day-to-day work, ideally Claude
- Experience leading the technical design of Salesforce changes
- Experience reviewing other people’s code and metadata changes
- Experience working in a version-controlled release process using Git, pull requests and CI/CD
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Experience building Lightning Web Components (desirable)
- Experience on a multi-brand Salesforce platform (desirable)
