Job Profile Summary:
This position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the execution of procedures, policies, guidelines, standards, and customer requirements to ensure the efficiency and productivity of national operations. As well as supervising the Logistics Operations department and ensuring the professional, personal, and disciplinary development of the team in charge.Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementation of operation processes, policies, guidelines, and standards that ensure operational efficiency
- Regulate, monitor, and control the operation through monthly key performance indicators, focused on continuous improvement both internally and externally (customers and suppliers)
- Provide direct support to the Managing Director, Mexico, and the Managing Director, LATAM
- Train and qualify the personnel involved in the operation (Operatives and Supervisors)
- Work under the parameters and standards of quality, legislation, and compliance of the company and the country
- Promote the personal and professional development of the department, as well as carry out performance evaluations
- Recognize achievements and good performance of the staff in charge
- Preparation and involvement with sales/customer for the SOP’s
- Conduct regular meetings in conjunction with the Sales Department and follow-up calls with customers
- Develop presentations of QRR for key accounts
- Evaluate, negotiate, and improve rates with the company’s suppliers
- Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- 3 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration, Business Administration, International Trade, or Industrial/Logistics Engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position

- Advance knowledge in the consolidation of air and ocean cargo operations.
- Customs legislation knowledge

Physical Requirements:
- Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period
- Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery
