Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist TEAM with organizing data, managing all office related items, handling routine administrative support tasks
- Knowing how to use programs like Microsoft (Suite) Word, Excel, Outlook for typing, spreadsheets, and emails.
- Accurately input numbers, client details and logs in databases with high attention and detail.
- Answers and directs phone calls and/or responds to or directs emails.
- Organizing and maintaining both physical paper and digital filing systems for easy retrieval
- May write or enter data on forms, logs and/or in electronic systems.
- Tracking deadlines to keep client cases active
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, ordering office supplies and operating equipment like printers and scanners
- Performs all other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.)
- High School Diploma required (college degree preferred but not required).
- Ability to read, write and sort documents using letters, dates and/or other designated filing criteria
- Ability to perform basic office duties using related equipment (scanner, shredder, phone, computer, etc.)
Preferred Qualification Requirements (desired requirements beyond MQRs above)
- Previous experience with medical billing and systems, specifically billing for services received by individuals with I/DD in assigned state of operations (NY or NJ)
- Previous experience processing or completing applications for Medicaid and Social Security benefits or entitlements.
Schedule Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Pay rate range $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
