Description
Artificial intelligence is changing how legal and tax professionals work. At Loyens & Loeff, Business Functions are increasingly using AI, automation, and data to improve how internal services are delivered. Teams such as AI Solutions, Innovation, Data & Analytics, IT and Legal Risk & Compliance work on practical improvements to workflows, reporting, knowledge processes and internal tooling. We are looking for two working students who can support these Business Functions two days a week, depending on where the need and impact are greatest.
What are you going to do?
· Support Business Functions in analyzing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities and translating needs into practical requirements;
· Help structure and improve operational processes such as project intake, progress tracking, reporting, documentation and feedback loops;
· Assist with AI, automation, data and workflow initiatives by helping to clarify requirements, prepare materials, test solutions and document outcomes;
· Help test, evaluate and improve prototypes, internal tools and deployed solutions;
· Collect and analyse user feedback, usage data and other signals to support better decision-making;
· Prepare clear internal materials, documentation and process descriptions for business users;
· Support coordination between business, technical, legal and operational stakeholders.
This role suits you, because
· You are studying a relevant discipline such as computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, engineering, business analytics, information management, law or another analytical field;
· You are comfortable working with structured information, processes, data and digital tools;
· You have an interest in AI, automation, data analysis or workflow improvement;
· You can translate open or ambiguous questions into structured analyses, documentation or practical next steps;
· You enjoy working with colleagues from business, legal, technical and operational backgrounds;
· Experience with Python, Power Platform, Azure services, APIs, low-code/no-code tools or internal workflow tools is a strong plus.
We offer
You will gain hands-on experience in a leading international law firm at the intersection of business operations, technology, AI, automation and data. You will work with different Business Functions and contribute to practical improvements in how internal services are organized, delivered and scaled. The role offers broad exposure to transformation projects, multidisciplinary collaboration and the operational side of innovation in a professional services environment. The team works from the Amsterdam office.
