As the Senior Developer Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain critical components of the amPHI platform — a Medical Device-classified (MDR EU 2017/745) emergency care and pre-hospital solution used across multiple countries. Working closely with the Engineering Lead, Product Owner, and fellow engineers, you will deliver robust, secure, and maintainable .NET code while contributing to technical design decisions. You will be working on the following:
Software Development
- Design and implement features across the amPHI .NET platform (backend services, APIs, UI components)
- Write clean, secure, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including production incidents
Architecture & Design
- Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
- Propose sound implementation approaches and evaluate trade-offs
- Identify technical debt and propose remediation within delivery cycles
Quality & Mentoring
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Mentor less experienced engineers on code quality, design, and problem-solving
- Support test automation and CI/CD practices for the components you own
Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and Test/QA on requirements and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with the Engineering Lead and DevOps on release readiness
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, security, and data protection standards
Technology environment
- Microsoft .NET / C#
- ASP.NET Core / REST APIs
- Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly)
- SQL Server and database design
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS)
