Location:

UK-based opportunities, typically offering hybrid working with travel to Leidos offices, customer sites and industry events as required.

Experience we are interested in:

• Leading capture, pursuit or business development activity for complex opportunities, ideally within the UK public sector or other highly regulated markets
• Shaping and positioning multi-disciplinary technology, IT services, engineering or systems integration solutions
• Developing customer-focused capture strategies, value propositions and competitive win themes
• Bringing together cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to execute business-winning plans

We are interested in hearing from professionals at different stages of their capture careers who enjoy working in dynamic, collaborative business-winning environments.

Depending on the opportunity, future Capture Manager roles may involve:

• Defining customer engagement strategies and building trusted relationships with senior customers and stakeholders
• Understanding customer challenges, constraints and desired outcomes
• Leading the development and execution of differentiated, customer-focused capture strategies
• Assembling and leading high-performing, cross-functional capture teams
• Working with industry partners where this strengthens the proposed solution and delivery approach
• Partnering with Bid Managers and subject-matter experts to develop high-quality, compelling proposals
• Leading internal stakeholder engagement and deal governance
• Supporting post-submission activity and a smooth handover into delivery following contract award

Skills and background that could make you a strong fit:

• A track record in capture management, pursuit leadership, business development or a related business-winning role
• Experience supporting or winning complex technology, engineering or services opportunities
• The ability to build and maintain senior relationships with customers, internal stakeholders and industry partners
• Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and communication skills

What we may need from you:

• Leadership, relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
• Confidence working across organisational boundaries, functions and geographically dispersed teams
• Commercial acumen and the ability to shape a clear, compelling value proposition
• Flexibility to travel within the UK when required for the specific role
