Description
As a BI analyst, you will play a key role in creating effective reports and dashboards, recommending decisions based on detailed analysis, market forecasts and analysis internally as well as for our shipper and carrier partners.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Leverage data to provide consultation to sales and operations to meet shipper and carrier requirements
- Create dashboards and reports to measure performance, automate operational processes, and drive revenue and business decisions
- Create detailed analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business
- Assist in effectively using and maintaining both internal and external data sources
- Take ownership of organizational initiatives and projects
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure project success
- Lead ad-hoc analysis to provide actionable insights to the business
- Ensure that all departmental deadlines are met
- Escalate known issues and highlight areas for process improvement
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field of study, such as finance, accounting, engineering, operations research, math, or statistics
- 1-2 years data analytics experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Solid understanding of data structures and SQL
- Considerable experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, SSRS, or Power BI
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders
- Strong time management skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

SCHEDULING
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. An employee in this position must be available to work occasionally on weekends and evenings, during peak periods.
TRAVEL
Local travel is required. Out of state travel is limited, but may be required for special training/conferences.
