HR Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As HR Analyst for Skechers Europe, you will be the analytical heart of our European HR function, based in Paris and reporting directly to the European HR VP. This is a brand new role — you will build it from scratch, designing the analytical frameworks, developing the dashboards, and establishing the rhythm of insight that will shape how HR operates across Europe for years to come. Your scope spans our full European footprint: a growing network of retail stores, corporate offices, and a large-scale European Distribution Center. Your work will directly enable our HR Business Partners to operate more strategically, and will give our leadership team the people intelligence it needs to make confident, informed decisions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 

• Analyze store-level productivity KPIs in correlation with people variables (absenteeism, turnover, tenure, headcount gaps) across the European store network, providing HRBPs with evidence-based insights to support conversations with store management and senior leadership
• Build and maintain retention and attrition models segmented by market, role type, and location — identifying early warning signals and quantifying the cost of attrition to support the business case for retention initiatives
• Map, compare, and measure the effectiveness of bonus and commission structures across European markets, building pay-versus-retention models and providing data-driven input into compensation review cycles
• Lead the analytical workstream for employee engagement surveys across Europe, identifying priority themes and tracking the impact of interventions over successive survey cycles
• Develop and maintain Talent Acquisition reporting covering pipelines, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and cost-per-hire, supporting workforce planning across European markets
• Design and maintain HR dashboards and executive reports that provide HRBPs and senior leadership with consistent, reliable, and actionable people data — translating complex analysis into clear narratives and recommendations
• Develop a dedicated analytics framework for the European Distribution Center, analyzing permanent vs. temporary workforce dynamics, absenteeism patterns, and their impact on productivity and operational outcomes

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

 

• Genuine understanding of core HR processes — recruitment, compensation, performance management, engagement, and workforce planning — and how people metrics connect to real business outcomes
• Strong analytical proficiency: advanced Excel / Google Sheets as a minimum; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent data visualization tools is a plus
• Comfort working with large, varied datasets from multiple sources, including HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Natural fluency with AI tools — you already use them, know how to get the best out of them, and know when to question what they tell you
• Strong communication skills — the ability to turn complex analysis into a clear, compelling story for non-technical audiences across cultures and geographies
• Full professional proficiency in English; French strongly preferred given the Paris base — Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, or another European language also considered

 

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in an HR analytics, people analytics, or data analyst role, ideally within a retail, logistics, consumer goods, or multinational environment
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data interpretation, and trend modelling
• Ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with HRBPs, TA teams, operations management, and senior leadership across multiple countries and cultures
• Highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity when handling sensitive workforce data
