Job Summary

The Manager - Learning and Development (LD) leads the development and delivery of India site level LD strategy, in collaboration with local and global LD teams, organizational leaders, and People Partners. This role is responsible for the design and delivery of business focused learning interventions and programs to help expand associate's knowledge and effectiveness.

 

Essential Job Functions

• Builds relationships with Bangalore leadership, manages and develops local L&D resources, and champions talent growth for business results. Oversees multiple projects, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and leads effectively with local and remote teams. Innovates content delivery, gathering insights on learning and talent trends from the external market. - (30%)
• Collaborate with business units to create LD plans that address skill gaps and future needs. Drive leadership and manager development programs aligned with business objectives. Partner globally to embed learning in operations and deliver targeted solutions for all levels, including virtual teams, using varied formats. - (30%)
• Lead program and intervention design through internal and external collaboration. Align content with adult learning for practical use and retention. Support instructional design and help evaluate programs for effectiveness and ROI.  - (25%)
• Deliver core curriculum such as onboarding and leadership programs for all associate levels. Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for LD associates, subject experts, and business leaders, sharing best practices and giving feedback. Negotiate and oversee third-party training contracts, setting standards and tracking metrics for service delivery. - (10%)
• Implement processes to evaluate effectiveness of development initiatives. Analyze results and update development programs based on themes and key learnings. Communicate learning outcomes with all internal stakeholders as appropriate. - (5%)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, organizational development, learning and development, communications, or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 8-10 years of experience in defining and implementing site, functional, and/or country level learning and development strategy and related plans
• 3+ years of leading project(s), mentoring and/or coaching experience

• Master’s Degree in learning and development, organizational development, or human resources
