Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of project execution from initiation through closeout
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, budgets, and schedules
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including field staff, engineers, and subcontractors
- Monitor project performance, including cost control, schedule adherence, and quality outcomes
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Review and approve project reports, forecasts, and change management documentation
- Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during bid and planning phases
- Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned initiatives across projects
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management
- Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven leadership experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction execution strategies and contract management
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project
- Advanced knowledge of cost control, forecasting, and risk management practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and project reporting tools
