The Role

 

You will work with global sustainability specialists to develop and review high-quality reports, presentations, assessments, and other client deliverables. The role combines strong editorial judgement, sustainability knowledge, analytical thinking, and project coordination.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and review sustainability reports, presentations, assessments, and client-facing deliverables.
  • Conduct substantive reviews covering structure, clarity, logic, evidence, materiality, conclusions, gaps, recommendations, and business implications, alongside language and style.
  • Ensure deliverables meet client requirements, terminology, templates, and UK/US English standards.
  • Support sustainability assessments through scoring reviews, questionnaire checks, and validation of findings and narratives.
  • Collaborate with global analysts and specialists to resolve gaps and improve quality and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Holtara’s products, templates, and editorial processes.
  • Use AI-enabled tools responsibly for research, drafting, summarisation, and quality checks, while independently validating outputs.

 

Skills & Experience

 

§   Master’s degree in English, communications, journalism, sustainability, business, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

§   Strong experience in content editing, report writing, and reviewing complex analytical material.

§   Working knowledge of sustainability due diligence, materiality, ESG risks and opportunities, ratings, reporting, and private markets.

§   Experience in research, editorial, financial services, ratings, consulting, or similar professional environments.

§   Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, writing, editing, and communication skills.

§   Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and review cycles.

§   Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

§   Ability to identify factual inconsistencies, evidence gaps, data discrepancies, and weaknesses in report logic.
