Description

Ready to make your next big professional move? Join us on our journey to achieve our big dream of building the most loved restaurant brands in the world.

Restaurant Brands International Inc. is one of the world's largest quick service restaurant companies with nearly $45 billion in annual system-wide sales and over 32,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and territories.

RBI owns four of the world's most prominent and iconic quick service restaurant brands – TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES®, and FIREHOUSE SUBS®. These independently operated brands have been serving their respective guests, franchisees and communities for decades. Through its Restaurant Brands for Good framework, RBI is improving sustainable outcomes related to its food, the planet, and people and communities.

RBI is committed to growing the TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES® and FIREHOUSE SUBS® brands by leveraging their respective core values, employee and franchisee relationships, and long track records of community support. Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.

Our opportunity:

This role supports the Sr. Manager on design projects across RBI's brands (Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Hortons). You'll manage projects, review store designs for brand compliance, and create visual materials like presentations and audit reports. You'll also get to build AI-powered tools that make design reviews faster and easier a great opportunity to grow both your design and tech skills.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Your roles & responsibilities:

  • Maintain organized, up-to-date records of design projects, approvals, and correspondence across markets.
  • Review restaurant layouts and designs for brand compliance, flagging issues for the Sr. Manager's review.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager on active projects, providing support across design stages from concept through construction.
  • Create visual assets and templates, audit reports, presentation decks, before/after design comparisons, and franchisee-facing materials combining spatial/design understanding with strong graphic execution.
  • Build and maintain AI-based tools and automations (e.g., checklists, review templates, or design-comparison workflows) to speed up and standardize audits and design reviews.
  • Help develop and maintain a broader "design ecosystem" organized reference materials, templates, and tools that support faster, more consistent decision-making.
  • Support coordination with consultants, franchisees, and vendors as needed.

Your skills & experience:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, Visual Communication/Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Experience with design software: AutoCAD & SketchUp is required.
  • 1–2 years of experience is a plus. Preferred industries: restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is an advantage.
  • Portfolio demonstrating the ability to work across both spatial/layout design and graphic/brand communication outputs.
  • Comfortable with (or eager to learn) AI tools and automation platforms.
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail and record-keeping discipline.
  • Comfortable working with data, templates, and repeatable processes.
  • Strong visual/graphic design sense: layout, typography, presentation alongside spatial/architectural literacy.
  • Interest in applying AI tools to practical, everyday workflows.
  • Able to manage multiple small tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English.

Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness. We offer unique and progressive benefits, including a comprehensive global paid parental leave program that supports employees as they expand their families, free telemedicine and mental wellness support.
