Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with rotating half-day Saturdays and Sundays.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet, escort, and prepare pediatric patients for examinations and treatments.
- Obtain and accurately document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and pulse oximetry.
- Perform phlebotomy, capillary blood collection, and specimen collection.
- Perform point-of-care testing, including rapid strep, influenza, COVID-19, and other approved tests.
- Assist providers with examinations, clinical procedures, and patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and provider communications.
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and patient follow-up.
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and stocked exam rooms and clinical equipment.
- Complete required clinical logs, safety checks, and regulatory documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous pediatric office experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records required; AthenaOne and/or Phreesia preferred.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude.
Compensation Range: $23.00-$26.00per hour
The compensation range listed represents Allied Physicians Group’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this position at the time of posting. The specific compensation offered will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
