You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain awareness of personnel and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
