Build a Career with Purpose

We are seeking an Access Nurse to join our Clinical Team at our busy multi-cultural ambulatory care center to support timely and effective clinical communication between our patients and their care teams. Based within the Access Center and reporting to the Lead Triage Nurse, the Access Nurse serves as a first point of clinical review for patient messages and clinical calls. The Access Nurse identifies needs requiring additional clinical assessment or decision-making and escalates them to the Triage Nurse, provider, or other appropriate member of the care team. The position is designed to improve patient access, provide timely resolution of routine clinical needs, and allow the Triage Nurse team and providers to focus on patients requiring higher-level clinical assessment and intervention.
