We are seeking an enthusiastic and analytical IT Data Analytics Intern to join our technology and data team. In this role, you will work closely with data engineers, IT analysts, and business stakeholders to turn raw data into meaningful insights. You will help clean, process, and visualize enterprise data to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Essential Duties:

• Data Preparation & Cleaning: Assist with extracting, transforming, and cleaning data from various IT and business systems to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Querying & Analysis: Write and optimize SQL queries to investigate data anomalies, pull database records, and perform exploratory data analysis.
• Dashboard Development: Build, update, and maintain interactive reports and visual dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Process Automation: Help transition manual reporting processes into automated, scalable data solutions.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Document data definitions, workflows, and business requirements; collaborate with teams using agile project management practices.

Under This Roof, We Require:

• Education: Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related STEM field.

• Basic-to-intermediate proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI or Tableau).
• Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Preferred: Exposure to programming languages like Python or R.

All GAF internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however, there are no benefits associated with these positions**.  Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer. Transportation, F-1 and HB-1 visa sponsorship will not be provided in association with these positions.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Hourly Rate: $20.00
