Customer and Market Engagement

  • Shape BU strategy through a deep understanding of specialty disease areas, patient journeys and HCP/HCO needs in Egypt.
  • Ensure compliant customer engagement through the field force, Medical, digital and omnichannel capabilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, centers of excellence and professional societies in collaboration with Medical.

Access, Pricing and Cross-Functional Governance

  • Partner with Market Access, Communications/Government Affairs and Policy/Government Affairs to secure and maintain patient access and reimbursement for the specialty portfolio.
  • Participate in brand reviews, launch readiness, forecast reviews and pricing/access boards to ensure alignment and robust decision-making.
  • Ensure BU activities comply with company policies, local codes and regulations, including promotion, interactions and data privacy.

Performance Management and Innovation

  • Monitor sales, market share, access, launch metrics and customer experience, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Drive innovation in specialty customer engagement, including omnichannel, digital tools and personalized engagement, using analytics and insights.
  • Contribute Egypt market insights to regional and global specialty strategies and lifecycle plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, business or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MSc) is preferred.
  • Extensive pharmaceutical commercial experience, ideally in specialty care or oncology/hepatology/immunology.
  • Proven BU/brand leadership with P&L accountability and successful launches in complex markets.
  • Strong understanding of the Egyptian specialty market, access environment and healthcare system.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and complex matrix stakeholders.

Key Capabilities and Skills

  • Strategic thinking and ability to manage complex, multi-brand specialty portfolios.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching and change-management skills.
  • Robust business and financial acumen.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • High ethical standards and strong commitment to patient safety and compliance.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment and lead through ambiguity.

If you are a strategic, people-focused leader with a passion for specialty care and a track record of building high-performing teams, we encourage you to apply and help us improve the lives of patients in Egypt.
