Fire Protection Services, LLC is hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Technician for the Perry / Middle Georgia area. What you'll do
- Service, repair, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
- Inspect and test systems to NFPA 72 as needed
- Preventative maintenance and retrofit work
- Document your work in BuildingReports — clean, complete, same day
- Represent FPS in front of customers: professional, straight answers, done right the first time
What you bring
- 5+ years of fire alarm service and repair experience
- Multi-brand experience — Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Notifier, Honeywell, EST, and others
- Low-voltage wiring experience on fire alarm systems (other low-voltage or electrical experience is a plus, not required)
- NICET Level I or II preferred — not required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license; must pass a background check and drug test
Pay and benefits
- $30-$40+/hr, depending on experience — we'll go higher for the right technician
- $2,500 sign-on bonus for experienced technicians
- Medical through UnitedHealthcare; dental and vision also available
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off: 2 weeks your first year, 3 weeks in year two, 4 weeks at year six, 5 weeks at year ten
- Major holidays paid
- Your birthday off — paid
- $15,000 life insurance benefit, paid by FPS
- Take-home company truck with tools, gas card, company cell phone, and laptop
- Uniforms provided — black Nike Dri-FIT shirts, Carhartt pants, hoodies, and jackets, hats and toboggans, plus a $100/year boot allowance
- Overtime opportunities
