Job Description

As a Security Officer Full-Time Warehouse in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with established procedures; maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, business spaces, and the perimeter, as assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly flow of personnel and vehicles at designated entry points while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
