As a values-driven organisation, integrity, collaboration, agility, and inclusion are at the heart of how we work and interact with each other, customers, patients and suppliers.

As a Senior Project Manager at ICON, you will be responsible for leading full-service clinical research projects from study start-up through closeout, ensuring successful execution and delivery of project objectives. This role requires an experienced Project Lead with a strong background in oncology clinical trials, with radiopharmaceutical experience highly desired.

What You Will Do:

You will manage day-to-day project and programme management activities, supporting cross-functional teams to deliver quality outcomes. As the overall Project Lead, you will have end-to-end accountability for full-service studies, coordinating multiple functional areas and serving as a key point of contact throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of project activities and alignment against project timelines, objectives, and commitments.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify project requirements, define project scope, and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leading complex oncology studies, with the ability to apply relevant oncology and radiopharmaceutical clinical research experience to project execution.
  • Mentoring and guiding team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Driving the development of project documentation and reports to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate best practices into project management strategies.
  • Contributing to organizational growth through effective project leadership and strategic planning.

Your Profile:

You will have significant experience serving as the Project Lead/Project Manager for full-service clinical trials, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and maintain oversight across the full study lifecycle. Strong oncology experience is required, and previous experience supporting radiopharmaceutical clinical trials is highly desired.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
  • Extensive clinical research project management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry, including direct experience leading full-service clinical trials.
  • Demonstrated experience as the overall Project Lead with responsibility for coordinating multiple functional areas and driving successful delivery of studies from start-up through closeout.
  • Strong oncology clinical trial experience.
  • Experience with radiopharmaceutical/radioligand clinical trials is highly desired.
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective project strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
