Job Overview

The Senior Software Engineer – .NET will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software solutions using C# and .NET. The role involves building APIs and integrations, supporting data migration, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions across backend platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software features using C# and .NET.
• Build REST APIs, integrations, and background processing solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution development.
• Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria with business analysts and subject matter experts.
• Manage task estimation, delivery, and implementation.
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Conduct code reviews, support deployments, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Identify security, performance, and maintainability concerns.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Use AI coding assistants responsibly while reviewing and validating generated code.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience in C# and modern .NET development, including OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and REST API development.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including query optimization, data modelling, and data migration concepts.
• Experience with unit testing, automated testing, root cause analysis, and defect management.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and Agile development practices.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, microservices, authentication, and background processing is an advantage.
• Exposure to Azure, containers, monitoring, observability, or Infrastructure as Code is desirable.
• Experience in legacy system modernization or data migration is an advantage.
• Frontend experience with React, TypeScript, or Blazor is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
