General Summary:
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree plus two (2) years of related experience; OR
- Eight (8) years of paid experience in increasingly responsible financial, administrative, and supervisory roles within a non-profit or business organization.
- High proficiency in commonly accepted accounting practices (GAAP) and advanced knowledge of financial computer systems.
- Proven experience in staff supervision, including performance evaluation and team development.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, implement, and evaluate complex administrative and program activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree specifically in Accounting or Finance.
- Significant experience managing the unique requirements of non-profit fiscal operations, including grant tracking and OMH/Medicaid reporting.
- Experience with centralized data management frameworks and pulling data from disparate software platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Payroll systems, and EHRs).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a sense of humor and tact under stress, along with a high degree of adaptability to changing circumstances.
