WHO WE ARE
Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.
Volvo Cars Bellevue is a high-volume luxury dealership serving one of the most affluent and brand-loyal markets in the Pacific Northwest. Volvo owners care deeply about their vehicles -- and they trust us to take care of them. That trust starts with our technicians.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on Volvo vehicles to OEM standards -- from routine services to complex electrical and mechanical repairs
• Utilize Volvo diagnostic platforms and dealer-specific tools to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns
• Inspect and evaluate used vehicles -- providing thorough condition assessments that support reconditioning decisions and protect the guest experience
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently -- documenting findings, parts used, and labor performed with precision
• Communicate technical findings clearly to service advisors so guests receive accurate, trustworthy recommendations
• Stay current on Volvo technical service bulletins, software updates, and manufacturer repair procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation that reflects the standard of the brand
• Contribute to a team environment where quality, accountability, and craftsmanship are the baseline
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 3+ years of dealership technician experience -- Volvo or European brand experience required
• Volvo factory certifications strongly preferred -- candidates actively pursuing certification are encouraged to apply
• Strong used vehicle inspection experience -- you know how to assess a car thoroughly and document it accurately
• Proficient with Volvo diagnostic systems -- VIDA, DICE, or equivalent platform experience preferred
• ASE certifications a strong plus
• Solid understanding of European vehicle systems -- electrical, suspension, powertrain, and ADAS
• Detail-oriented and accurate -- your repair orders are clean, your comebacks are rare
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A craftsmanship mindset -- you take pride in the quality of every vehicle that leaves your bay
WHAT WE OFFER
• $35.00 - $50.00 per flat-rate hour -- rate based on experience, certifications, and skill level
• Progressive pay plan -- as your tenure grows and certifications stack, your rate increases
• Paid Volvo manufacturer training and certification support
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• State-of-the-art facility with modern diagnostic tools and technology
• Career path -- strong technicians grow into shop foreman and service management roles at Swickard
• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
