What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors entering or exiting controlled areas.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; document and report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
