Logistics Coordinator / Administrator
Northampton, NN5
£13.50 per hour
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Temporary with potential to be made permanent after 12 successful weeks

We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator / Administrator to join our team.
This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who can work efficiently, adapt quickly and learn new processes with confidence. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day logistics and administrative operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately and deliveries are coordinated smoothly.
Key Duties:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Running and managing daily order picks.
- Manually booking orders and collections with courier companies.
- Processing and managing customer orders.
- Responding to incoming emails and telephone enquiries.
- Providing general administrative support to the logistics team.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating order information.
- Liaising with couriers and internal departments to ensure deliveries run smoothly.
- Supporting the team with general day-to-day logistics duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in logistics, administration and/or data entry.
- Good computer skills and confidence using data entry systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- A quick learner who can adapt to new systems and processes.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
