Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site, Licensed Massage Therapist role based in Suffolk, VA. The therapist will provide professional bodywork services, including therapeutic massage and specialty modalities tailored to clients’ individual needs and treatment plans.
Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting clients, reviewing health histories, conducting brief consultations, and delivering safe and effective massage sessions within scheduled appointment times.
The role also involves maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, documenting sessions accurately, and upholding hygiene and sanitation standards. The therapist will collaborate with the team to support stress relief and wellness programs, offer guidance on self-care, and contribute to a welcoming, client-centered environment.

Qualifications:
- Ability to provide high-quality therapeutic massage services, including body massage techniques adapted to client needs.
- Proficiency or strong interest in specialized modalities such as Shiatsu and other holistic bodywork practices.
- Skills in stress management support, including educating clients on relaxation techniques and self-care strategies.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on clear communication, empathy, and professional client interactions.
- Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain licensure before start date.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage, with commitment to client safety and ethics.
- Ability to maintain detailed session notes, manage appointment schedules, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development, including continuing education in massage and wellness.
