Description
ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.
We are currently looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Office located in Long Beach, California.
Job Type: Part-time, Direct hire
Pay: $70-80 per hour
Hours: Mon/Thurs/Fri (20-30 hrs)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a physician, with a focus on both acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform physical examinations, medical histories, and ongoing assessments for patients with a variety of internal medicine concerns.
- Develop, manage, and adjust individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modification, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals, specialty consultations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging, screenings) relevant to internal medicine and age-specific patient needs.
Requirements:
- Graduate from a Physician's Assistant or NP Program, with 2 plus years of current experience
- Background in Family Practice
- Bilingual Spanish fluency a plus but not required
- DEA License
- Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS)
