  • Monitor new FASB and SEC guidance; assess potential impacts and support implementation of new requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Human Resources and other business partners to collect, challenge and validate disclosure support
  • Serve as a key contact for quarterly reviews and the annual audit, including as the primary liaison with the internal and external auditors
  • Maintain and improve SOX and disclosure controls; identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate reporting processes
  • Review work prepared by junior team members and provide clear coaching, while remaining accountable for quality and deadlines
  • Lead ad hoc reporting, benchmarking and special projects for senior management and executive leadership

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; working knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and SOX/internal control principles.
  • Ability to independently manage workstreams, exercise sound judgment and escalate issues early in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex financial information into clear conclusions for finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a track record of constructive cross-functional partnership.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Workiva or similar reporting tools is a plus.
  • A curious, accountable and team-oriented approach, with the confidence to challenge support and improve established processes.
