Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer / Vascular

My client, a small rural hospital in Western CO, has a need for an Ultrasound/Vascular Tech to join their team. Candidates MUST be able to do OB and Breast Ultrasound as well as some Vascular (ie DVTs/upper and lower extrememties from the ER, etc)

**$10,000 sign on stay bonus with 2 yr commitment, plus up to $2500 relocation.

Requirements:

To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasonic technology/sonography
• Experience: Minimum requirements of two years as a sonographer. Knowledge of current theories and practices in sonography and their application to patient care. Must have experience in OB, Breast and some vascular.
• Licenses/Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Maintenance of CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities:

• Establish continuous quality improvement standards in the department.
• Perform thorough patient evaluation using RDMS and ACR standards appropriate
• Communicate with patients, families and physicians and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new clinical staff to familiarize them with administration of modalities and equipment.

Compensation: $37.25 - $55.88/hr, depending on experience.
