We're working with a growing manufacturer in the building products industry that is looking to add a strong maintenance technician to its East Houston operation. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys working on production equipment, troubleshooting issues, but also planning ahead for proactive maintenance—not just waiting for something to break.
What You'll Do
We're working with a growing manufacturer in the building products industry that is looking to add a strong maintenance technician to its East Houston operation. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys working on production equipment, troubleshooting issues, but also planning ahead for proactive maintenance—not just waiting for something to break.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of equipment, improve reliability, and help modernize the operation
- Work across metal-processing and insulation-manufacturing equipment, including production machinery, motors, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC-controlled equipment
- A background in industrial or plant maintenance, ideally in metal processing, fabrication, building products or another hands-on manufacturing environment
- Be comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, working with PLCs and controls, and handling the everyday challenges of keeping production equipment running
- Practical troubleshooting ability and a strong mechanical/electrical foundation
