Dental Hygienist

A Dental Hygienist provides superior quality dental services as the principal provider of preventative and restorative periodontal care in the practice. The Dental Hygienist must possess the ability to assess, perform and reinforce productive preventative aseptic dental care of patients and support as well as reinforce communicated diagnosed dental treatment needs.Minimum QualificationsCurrent dental hygienist license in NE and an Associate s or Bachelor s degree in dental hygiene (where required)Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentationCPR CertificationPreferred ExperienceOpen to new grads, and experienced Hygienists!Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systemsDesire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients dental healthClinical needs as required by officePhysical RequirementsAbility to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
