Job Description

Job Summary**

Responsible for originating and closing mortgage loans, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets within United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd.

Job Responsibilities**

* Proactively identify and cultivate new mortgage loan opportunities through various channels, including referrals, networking, and direct sales efforts.
* Conduct thorough financial needs analysis for potential clients to recommend suitable mortgage products and solutions offered by UOB.
* Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, ensuring accurate and complete documentation submission.
* Maintain a strong understanding of UOB's mortgage products, policies, and pricing, as well as relevant market trends and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with internal departments, such as credit and operations, to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
* Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for mortgage loan volume and other key performance indicators.
* Adhere strictly to all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory guidelines.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on mortgages.
* Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending principles, and the Malaysian property market.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients quickly.
* Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Possession of relevant industry certifications or licenses (e.g., PCE, CEILI) is an advantage.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
