Job Title: Warehouse Operator (Operator II) Job Profile: 10-Step-PRI01-Operator II Department: Supply Chain FLSA Status: HNE Grade Profile: 10-Step-PRI01-OPRII JOB PURPOSE: Receive and process Raw Material from different sources (outside and inside) at the warehouse. Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, in a safety way. Most perform Material Handler duties at the warehouse area. Assure that company complies with all internal and external regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs data entry of materials received at company system. • Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time. • Carries, lift and handling materials and merchandise at warehouse area with the appropriate safety equipment that company provides. • Verifies quantities of materials delivered and for delivery in compliance with shipping documents. • Keeps records and filing all information of materials received or delivered. • Performs material inventories in the warehouses. • Inspects material handling equipment such as lifters and fingers lifts to meet company requirements. • Drives truck to destination. • Loads and unloads truck. • Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit. • Drives in a safety and proper way assuring the compliance with all state road regulations and laws. • Delivers and pick-ups materials or merchandise from or to the daily or the stockroom. • Keeps the work area in the cleanest and order condition. • Provides support in assigned activities (e.g. extended shifts, weekends, shutdown/slowdown, etc.) as necessary. • Fill out the documentation required by the procedures. • Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time. • Team worked oriented. • Other related duties with the position may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED); heavy driver license. Computer knowledge. • LANGUAGE SKILLS Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees, and internal or external audits. Ability to communicate, read, write and understand English/Spanish languages. • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to follow all GMP requirements while conducting the assigned duties and completing official documents. • PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; eye-hand coordination; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 pounds (with the appropriate safety equipment that the Company provides). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. • WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. • SAFETY EQUIPMENT and/or EQUIPMENT The employee is required to use the appropriate Safety Equipment that Baxter requires to comply with all Safety and Security rules (in Regulated Areas), such as safety glasses, safety shoes, uniform, special safety suit, gloves, ear plugs, safety stairs, etc. The incumbent must be use industrial and non-industrial computerized system; manufacturing and laboratory equipment; telephone; office supply; copy machine; fax machine; computer.
