This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Schedule: D Shift Schedule. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5pm-3am

Job Description

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift over 70 lbs. daily and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.  Must be able to work outside in extreme hot or cold environments at times. Must be able to work in a dusty environment and in temperatures of 50 degrees F or less.

Labores

Debe ser capaz de aprender el software Tyson SAP para realizar órdenes de trabajo y completar la documentación diaria que se requiere en el sistema. Debe ser capaz de leer y escribir cuando sea necesario. Debe ser capaz de usar las matemáticas según sea necesario para hacer cálculos relacionados con el trabajo para maquinaria, capacidades de fluidos, etc. Debe ser capaz de levantar más de 70 libras diarias y ser capaz de trabajar en sus pies durante un período de 12 horas. Debe estar dispuesto a completar toda la capacitación requerida para el trabajo.  Debe ser capaz de trabajar al aire libre en ambientes extremadamente calientes o fríos a veces. Debe ser capaz de trabajar en un ambiente polvoriento y a temperaturas de 50 grados F o menos.
