The purpose of this role is to provide account management and operations support for internal customers. The nature of the work is proactive and must be able to alert key stakeholders on potential service gaps. Such services include load optimization, carrier assignment/tendering, capacity planning, proactive issue resolution, load coverage, and customer collaboration on all logistics matters. 

Responsibilities

Accountabilities:

  • Effectively prioritize and manage approximately 300 shipments per day in a manner that holds carriers accountable to key SOPS and EDI processes. Provide issue resolution and communication to both external shippers/customers and internal PepsiCo locations and drivers.
  • Carrier Compliance to track and trace loads check calls
  • Proactive shipment tracking and custom alerts for known anticipated service gaps
  • Timely issue resolution
  • Scheduling Drivers
  • tracking and scheduling the pickup of raw materials
  • participate in on call, after hours as determined based on business needs.
  • Non-traditional work schedule to include night and weekend coverage

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $49,200 - $73,800.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively communicate with OTR drivers and other Pepsi locations as well as with carriers/ dispatchers constructively. 
  • Strong passion for meeting goals, customer service and logistics excellence
  • Ability to learn and update transportation management systems
  • Ability to effectively interact and build favorable business relationships with all carriers and customers.
  • Strong team player committed to teamwork in fast paced environment.
  • Willingness to embrace change and all other assignments as business needs change.
