Location – Melbourne, Victoria / Home Office Based
If you have experience in hospital or implantable medical device sales, then this role is tailored to your expertise. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Urology, the purpose of this role is to achieve sales targets for key accounts within Victoria and South Australia through the development of long-term positive customer relationships, which build loyalty and confidence in Cook Australia as a preferred supplier.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in adult and paediatric urology, with an emphasis on stone management.
Responsibilities
- Achieve divisional sales by selling Cook products within a territory and nominated key accounts
- Develop and maintain territory call rates to build customer relationships
- Research customer needs to identify sales opportunities
- Analyse sales reports to identify business opportunities
- Provide customer support on inventory and consignment
- Collaborate with marketing and Territory Managers within the Division to ensure the promotion and support of all relevant products
- Record all applicable customer interactions on the company provided database/record management tool
- Identify, coordinate and deliver customer in-service educations sessions to support the appropriate use of Cook products
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Clinical related field highly desirable
- Proven success in a medical device or pharmaceutical hospital sales role
- Energetic, self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality service and business profit
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) essential
- Some interstate travel will be a requirement of this role.
- Due to the inherent requirements of this role, evidence of vaccinations for relevant vaccine preventable diseases as well as COVID-19 vaccination relevant to the territory and the ability to maintain vaccination status essential
- Satisfactory police check essential
- WWC (Working with Children) certificate or the ability to obtain one essential
