Use Your Power for Purpose
The PGS Digital Portfolio Governance Lead reports to the VP, PGS Data, Analytics & AI Transformation and serves as a member of the leadership team. The role operates in a 50/50 partnership with Digital leadership, with critical input from functional leaders across PGS, and is accountable for developing, governing, and realizing the PGS-Digital strategy in alignment with the PGS LT-endorsed strategy.
This leader establishes the portfolio governance, investment discipline, and value realization framework that ensures approved PGS-Digital initiatives are prioritized, funded, tracked, delivered, adopted, and sustained. The role owns the mechanisms that make progress, spend, risks, and business case outcomes visible, enabling rapid identification of off-track work and clear accountability for remediation, redesign, or retirement where needed.
The scope includes Engagement & Adoption leadership and Project Management Office capacity for select major initiatives, both of which are critical to converting strategy and investment into measurable business impact. Through disciplined governance, rigorous execution, and sustained adoption, the role helps Pfizer realize the full value of PGS-Digital, Data, Analytics, and AI transformation investments.
What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:

Strategy & Value Realization Governance
Establish and maintain a review framework that makes initiative performance visible across progress, spend, timelines, risks, adoption, and value delivered against approved business cases.
Maintain a trusted network of functional partners and hold initiative owners accountable for remediation plans, course correction, redesign, or retirement when performance, value, or adoption is off track.
Cross-Tower Program Management
Lead major, multi-tower program management on behalf of the organization, including PMO support for Trusted Data & Responsible AI and other large, cross-cutting Data, Analytics & AI initiatives.
Maintain Project Management Office capacity for select major initiatives and targeted supplemental support for other PGS-Digital priorities, reinforcing disciplined delivery and transformation execution.
Engagement & Adoption Center of Excellence
Lead the Engagement & Adoption function, providing organization-wide standards, coaching, and selective hands-on execution support to ensure critical PGS-Digital solutions and process changes are embedded and sustained.
Provide change management, stakeholder engagement, communications, feedback mechanisms, recognition, and collaboration practices that strengthen adoption across the portfolio and the broader PGS Data, Analytics & AI Transformation organization.
Compliance & Policy Adherence
Partner with Quality, Digital, and other policy-owning organizations to ensure in-scope programs adhere to applicable corporate, PGS, and Digital policies, standards, controls, documentation, catalog/inventory registration, and performance monitoring expectations.
Drive organization-wide awareness of governance, compliance, and documentation expectations so colleagues understand what is required and why.
Enterprise Governance Representation
Represent the organization in relevant Digital, Quality, and PGS governance forums spanning investment decisions, compliance matters, and major cross-tower programs.
