Silver Star Construction is looking for a motivated Asphalt Plant Groundman to assist with maintenance, equipment operation, and general support activities at our asphalt production facility. This role is essential to keeping plant operations running smoothly and safely.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
- Operate various pieces of heavy equipment including haul trucks, water trucks, skid steers, and man lifts.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the plant.
- Perform general labor duties supporting plant production.
Desired Skills:
- Effective verbal communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to identify mechanical issues and workplace hazards.
- Safety-focused mindset.
Qualifications:
- Clean driving history.
- Successful completion of a physical, drug screen, and background check.
