Role insights:
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and improve the performance of database. Conduct regular tuning checks.
- Database Management: Maintain Azure SQL Databases and other Microsoft data solutions. Oversee database migrations, upgrades, and patches.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure databases comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with development teams to optimize database designs and queries. Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, performance tuning activities, and operational procedures.
What makes you unique:
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or other relevant certifications in Azure and SQL Server technologies.
- Several years of experience in database administration, with a focus on performance tuning.
- Previous experience with cloud-based database solutions, particularly in Azure environments.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code).
