Management Level:
Class 3This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
- Follow established procedures (SOPs) and accurately record all required information.
- Maintain good manufacturing practices, personal hygiene, and a clean, organized work area.
- Operate equipment safely and comply with all safety policies.
- Monitor equipment condition and report any issues.
- Accurately track, handle, package, and store materials and ingredients.
- Keep work areas (including floors) clean and free of debris.
- Follow company policies and work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned tasks.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- The Team Member must be willing and able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The Team Member is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold.
- The Team Member will work where the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexibility in wrist and hand movements.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to move heavy objects (up to 2,000 lbs) with mechanical lifting devices.
- Ability to move heavy forklift equipment (e.g., batteries).
- Strong communication skills to work with Quality Control, Purchasing, Production, and Supervisors.
- Ability to accurately record data in unloading reports, inventory sheets, and inspection forms.
- Basic computer skills, including email and the use of hand‑held scanners.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have 3 months of experience with any employer.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must not have any DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months
- Successful candidates may not be allowed to apply for another position for six (6) months unless the position is a promotion
- If a job posting fails to produce any qualified candidates, the company may assign the position to a qualified probationary Team Member or recruit from the outside.
- Must have completed 90-day probationary period to apply. If a non-probationary period team member is not selected, probationary team members will be considered.
- Must have a satisfactory attendance record of 3 points or less.
- Must not have received a written warning/suspension in the last 6 months.
