What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on heavy-duty trailers
- Diagnose and repair brake systems, suspension, wheel ends, air systems, and electrical components
- Complete structural trailer repairs including doors, floors, roofs, cross members, rails, and landing gear
- Perform welding, fabrication, and trailer rebuilds as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure safe trailer operation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Qualifications
- Heavy-duty trailer repair experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in diagnostics and repairs
- Welding, fabrication, or carpentry experience is a strong plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Must provide your own tools and toolbox
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen
