About the Role
Customer Centricity - This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Distribution Operation & Administration to oversee the distribution operation to cope with on-going distribution channel business development within the Division
- Establish and maintain effective systems and controls on proper selection and administration of insurance intermediaries in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Lead a team to handle the license and registration affairs of insurance intermediaries, enquiries/ correspondences from regulators and coordinate compliance training to insurance intermediaries where necessary
- Formulate and execute policies & procedures of insurance intermediary administration; Coordinate and liaise with related departments for the preparation and regular review of Agent/Broker agreements, forms and correspondences
- Coordinate with Business Quality Partner Drive on various compliance reporting/reviews within the Division, such as external/internal audit, risk management, credit control and complaint investigation concerning insurance intermediaries
- Monitor the CPD Training plan and compliance reporting of insurance agents; coordinate compliance training/reminders to insurance intermediaries where necessary
- Support the Division to develop and review various internal policies & procedures for uplifting on-going compliance with Group standards, to monitor the implementation of business quality requirements and best practice within the Division
- Manage various workflow revamp and system enhancement on license and registration affairs
- Support Head of Distribution Operation & Administration and Division Head in Task Force on Intermediary Management related administration and regular reporting
- Manage the distribution operation, including promotion campaign management, MIS reporting, insurance intermediaries’ compensation and communication, Super Agent e-Platform enhancement and maintenance, etc.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Degree holder, preferably in business or insurance related disciplines
- Qualified IIQE, LOMA, ANZIIF(Senior Associate) qualifications or other related professional/ insurance status is an advantage
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years’ at managerial level
- Sound knowledge of the Insurance Ordinance, Code of Conduct for Licensed Insurance Agents & Brokers, Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and other relevant regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, analytical and decision making skills
- Positive-thinking, self-motivated, willing to take on additional responsibility and work in fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent planning and attentive to details
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint
Others:
- You are preferred to obtain the license of Insurance Authority (IA) (Paper 1 and 2)
- You are required to acquire the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
