Description
NVIDIA is building a Taiwan-based team, working with counterparts in the United States, to support CPU programs. This team will provide in-person and in-time-zone support for NVIDIA platform factories and ODM/OEM partner factories. The Technical Delivery Lead will address SBIOS issues reported by customers, partners, ODMs, and internal stakeholders. The role calls for a firmware or embedded engineer who can work across varied code bases and modules, solve problems directly, and engage domain experts when needed.
What you'll be doing:
Provide in-person and in-time-zone support for NVIDIA platform factories and ODM/OEM partner factories.
Address SBIOS issues reported by customers, partners, ODMs, and internal stakeholders.
Solve the majority of reported problems directly, bringing in domain experts as needed.
Work across varied code bases and modules to investigate and resolve problems.
Develop tools and use AI to solve engineering problems.
Strong AI-enabled skills and thinking - use AI to accelerate analysis, exploration, and documentation while maintaining rigor, originality, and judgment that do not come from AI.
How you'll use AI in this role:
Treat AI as a core part of the workflow for:
Developing tools that help solve reported SBIOS issues.
Accelerating problem analysis and exploration across varied code bases.
Applying judgment to know when AI output should be trusted, verified, or overridden.
Sharing effective AI patterns, prompts, and tools with fellow engineers.
What we need to see:
B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of relevant firmware or embedded engineering experience.
Demonstrated ability to work in varied code bases across modules and solve problems.
Demonstrated experience using AI to develop tools and solve problems.
Ability to solve issues independently and work effectively with domain experts when needed.
