Description
About The PositionUpwind is a next-generation Cloud Security Platform that leverages runtime context to identify and prioritize critical risks, providing precise insights and efficient cloud security management. Unlike traditional tools, Upwind uses runtime data proactively for risk prioritization and posture insights, ensuring teams focus on what truly matters. With industry-leading efficiency and eBPF-powered sensors, Upwind delivers comprehensive capabilities, including agentless cloud posture discovery, real-time threat protection, and integrated API security. From misconfigurations to malware defense, Upwind ensures end-to-end, cost-effective cloud infrastructure protection.Upwind is hiring a Senior Technical Marketing Manager to own the technical narrative behind runtime-powered cloud security. This is a hands-on role for someone who is part technologist, part storyteller: comfortable diving deep into architecture, runtime behavior, Kubernetes environments, identity flows, APIs, and kernel-level telemetry, then translating that depth into content that earns trust with engineers and security leaders. You'll think like a security engineer and write like a product marketer, building the technical content, product narratives, launch assets, and enablement materials that explain not just what Upwind does, but how it works and why it's architecturally different. You'll report to the Head of Product Marketing and work closely with Product, Sales Architects, Engineering, and Research to turn complex innovation into market-ready messaging that drives real pipeline impact. What You'll DoOwn the technical narrative. Partner with Product and Product Marketing to define use cases, and build demo labs and training material for all new features and releases.Create and execute high-impact technical content, from deep-dive technical blogs and solution guides to architecture explainers and product landing pages that security engineers and cloud teams actually want to read.Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across product management, engineering, and field teams for high-impact security use cases.Translate complex architecture into clear value, turning runtime telemetry, eBPF instrumentation, Kubernetes metadata, identity context, and API flow mapping into differentiated, defensible positioning.Keep our technical voice sharp: precise, modern, and human, authoritative when discussing architecture, approachable when discussing customer value.
