Job Summary
Provide technical assistance to child care providers and individual coaching to teachers of preschool aged children. Coordinate regional professional learning for child care providers. Maintain records and report as required.
Assist programs with expansion, making judgments on business strategies and provide ongoing program support; use evaluation tools to determine needs of the provider and create unique program plan for each provider. Compares current training opportunities to changing MSDE guidance and updates trainings to be offered as possible, to ensure best possible continuing education programs to providers.
Authority and Accountability
This position reports to Director of the Eastern Shore Child Care Resource Center (ESCCRC) and Executive Director of the ESCCRC. This position has no direct reports, and there are no supervisory or budgetary duties. However, it is the only position in the work unit responsible for assigned activities or clearly defined task assignments.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood field or comparable
- Teaching/Childcare experience
- Computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor' Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Functional knowledge of a Resource and Referral Agency
- Experience teaching/training groups online

The position is a Contingent II, full-time, exempt position.
