Are you looking to kickstart an international career in one of Europe's most vibrant, sun-soaked capitals? We are seeking detail-oriented, empathetic, and open-minded Czech-Speaking Content Moderators to join our multicultural hub in Lisbon, Portugal.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in keeping the digital environment safe, respectful, and welcoming for millions of online users. You will be responsible for reviewing user-generated media, enforcing platform policies, and filtering out harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.
No previous moderation experience? No problem. We provide fully paid, comprehensive onboarding to set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Review: Process and evaluate user-generated content (video, text, images, and audio) in Czech and English against platform-specific community guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Identify and remove policy-violating content (e.g., misinformation, hate speech, explicit media, scams, or copyright violations).
- Trend & Safety Reporting: Flag emerging trends, systemic policy breaches, or critical escalation cases to team leads.
- Maintain Accuracy: Consistently make swift, sound, and objective decisions while operating under established target metrics and quality standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with evolving platform policies, digital safety laws, and local cultural nuances.
What We Are Looking For
Mandatory Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Native or near-native (C1/C2) fluency in Czech.
- English Proficiency: B2 level or higher (spoken and written, used for internal training, systems, and team communication).
- Work Authorization: EU/EEA citizenship or a valid, unrestricted work permit for Portugal.
- On-Site Presence: Willingness to work 100% on-site at our modern office facilities in Lisbon.
Desired Qualities (Good to Have, Not Mandatory):
- Prior experience in Content Moderation, Customer Support, Quality Assurance, or Social Media Management is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with social media channels, internet culture, and digital trends.
- High resilience, emotional maturity, and professional detachment when encountering sensitive or objectionable graphic material.
- Ability to handle shift work (including weekends or night rotations, depending on operational needs).
Relocation Package & Benefits
Moving to a new country can feel daunting, so we take care of the heavy lifting to ensure a seamless transition:
- Company Housing: Accommodation provided in a private room within a fully equipped shared apartment (utilities, Wi-Fi, and cleaning services included).
- Flight Ticket Reimbursement: Your flight costs to Lisbon will be fully reimbursed following onboarding completion.
- Airport Pick-up & Logistics: Arrival assistance, including support with local tax registration (NIF), social security, and health system sign-ups.
- Comprehensive Health Insurance: Private medical coverage after initial probation.
- Professional Onboarding: 2–3 weeks of paid interactive training covering guidelines, tools, and safety practices.
- Extra Perks: Free Portuguese language courses, corporate wellness activities (sports clubs, surfing lessons), and regular team events.
