Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform expert installation and servicing of commercial and residential entry doors, encompassing a variety of tasks such as installing hollow metal frames, hollow metal doors, wood doors, and associated door hardware for diverse applications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installation sites, carefully reviewing work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to accurately assess material needs and determine optimal installation procedures.
- Use the Door Hardware Schedule to verify installation of materials meets the guidelines specified and communicate to your supervisor any discrepancies.
- Cultivate a positive customer service image through proficient service practices, maintaining a professional appearance, and engaging in effective communication with all clients.
- Employ exceptional communication and active listening skills to comprehensively understand customer needs, diagnose issues, and effectively implement solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Operates in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Education and Experience:

- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and tools.
- Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment typical of metal fabrication shops.
- Physical capability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform tasks that may require reaching overhead or working in confined spaces.
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for safety reasons.
Travel Requirements:
- Some day travel to and from job sites required.
